General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS)
Beginning December 1, 2023 Each Jeep shall have a GMRS radio in order to take part in our trail rides. Hand-held GMRS radios of 5 watts and/or permanently installed GMRS radios are permissible. GMRS radios up to 50 watts are legal.
Our club will be using Channels 15 through 22, which we are allowed to use up to 50 watts of power. The trail leader will announce what channel will be used at the drivers briefing.
FCC License is required for all GMRS radios. Click on the link below for help in obtaining a license.
